Amanda Tabb, Director of Partner Services on the ACF GrantSolutions program was named to the Federal Computer Week (FCW) list of Rising Stars for 2016. This annual award honors individuals who are still early in their federal IT careers yet already are having an outsized impact.
Amanda was recognized for her work on the complex multi-agency GrantSolutions system. As Director of Partner Services, Amanda is responsible for managing a team of Partner Project Directors (PPDs) that work directly with the agencies using the system. While there are standard functions to manage grants, each organization has specific needs and workflow that is driven by the type of grants they issue and the programs they support. Amanda and her team are the link between technical experts and the customers to ensure that GrantSolutions is meeting their needs today and into the future.
Amanda was acknowledged for her focus on listening to partners and becoming a trusted part of their team. She mentors and supports each PPD to do this with their assigned partners and this focus on mission builds a sense of trust where partners say things like, “glad you thought of that” and trust the PPDs to oversee their grants management.
Amanda was honored along with other Rising Stars at the GCN DigIT awards ceremony.
