Program Management Council At Dovel

As our organizations continue to grow, Dovel and MSC are continually looking for ways to provide resources and opportunities for our employees. We are pleased to announce that on July 27, we launched a Program Management Council (PMC), which is focused on enhancing the knowledge and skills of current and future managers. The PMC will serve as a forum to share best practices and strategies to mitigate challenges faced when managing projects, activities, processes, and people. It will also provide an opportunity to discuss ways to obtain training, including certification and professional development units, as well as enhance professional relationships throughout the organizations.

At the July 27 kickoff meeting, Dovel executive leadership discussed how the PMC can play a critical role in the growth of our organizations, there was a review of results from a survey that was conducted of current PMs, and discussion ensued about the vision for the group.

The PMC held its first interactive educational session on August 10 and discussed Classic Software Development Mistakes. The session was moderated by Jon Hoehne. Future sessions are in the planning stages and will be announced in the near future.

Make sure to check out the Program Management Group on Yammer to interact with others and stay up to date on the latest activities. Please reach out to Liz Coppolecchia, Jon Hoehne, Laura Roth, or Kristin D’Amore with any questions about the PMC.
