Dovel Technologies Acquires ZapThink LLC
Combined Entity Brings Mix of Training and Implementation to Federal SOA and Cloud Implementations
MCLEAN, VA and BALTIMORE, MD August 15, 2011 – Dovel Technologies today announced the acquisition of ZapThink LLC as part of its continuing strategy to expand its scope, capabilities, and thought leadership in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Cloud Computing and related technologies. ZapThink is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Dovel Technologies.

ZapThink provides its audience of over 20,000 senior IT executives, enterprise architects, and other IT practitioners with thought leading content, training, advisory, and expertise into the critical trends shaping the future of enterprise IT. In particular, the company has built a brand around its SOA and Cloud Computing expertise. Its flagship offering is the Licensed ZapThink Architect (LZA) course, which provides training and certification on SOA & Cloud Computing around the world. ZapThink has certified over 1400 individuals to date, and will continue to offer an expanded LZA curriculum.
