Dovel Technologies Earns CMMI Level 3 Appraisal

Ongoing commitment to quality development and repeatable processes illustrated by ability to once again meet Level 3 standards

McLean, VA August 17, 2020 – Dovel Technologies, a leading expert to federal agencies that blends deep domain expertise and advanced technologies in the health IT, life sciences, public safety, and grants management markets, today announced that the company has been re-appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Model Maturity Integration (CMMI). Dovel has been CMMI Level 3 appraised since 2008.

The appraisal was performed by The Process Company. The appraisal team evaluated three projects across Dovel and subsidiary, Medical Science & Computing (MSC). AceInfo, a Dovel company, was also re-appraised at CMMI Level 3 and has been at that level since 2008. The AceInfo appraisal was performed by ProcessWorks, Inc.

An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates that the organization performs at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.

“As we’ve grown, maintaining this rating really shows our focus on quality and on-time delivery while staying agile,” said Damon Griggs, Dovel CEO. “Whether it is through organic growth or acquisition, we ensure that every team understands and shares this commitment and has the right pieces in place to deliver quality solutions for our customers.”
