Dovel Technologies Names Paul Leslie CEO
McLean, VA May 31, 2011 – Dovel Technologies, a leader in software application development and emerging information technology solutions, headquartered in McLean, Virginia, announced today that Paul Leslie will join Dovel as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective immediately. Co-founder and current CEO, Elma Levy will remain active and involved with the company as Chair of the Board. Dov Levy, Co-founder, will stay in his current position of President and Chief Technologist.

Leslie brings leadership and knowledge in successfully building companies for substantial market value and growth. He has proven leadership experience and expertise in operational excellence, business development, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and extensive public sector operations. Most recently, Leslie served as President of Apptis, Inc. a Chantilly, Virginia based technology services company. Prior to joining Apptis, he co-founded and served as President and CEO of Apogen Technologies, a federal IT services and technology company with a focus on homeland security and defense. He led Apogen’s accelerated business expansion through an impressive combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Apogen was acquired by QinetiQ, Ltd in 2005. Leslie has also held key leadership positions with EDS, BDM International, TRW, and BTG.
