ZapNote: The Open Travel Alliance (OTA)
The Open Travel Alliance (OTA) was created less than two years ago as a means for creating a set of standards for the hospitality and travel industries. Their first deliverable is an XML-based specification that covers the various needs of airline, hotel, car, and entertainment facilities. And two organizations, Viata and Outrigger Hotels, are making the most of their commitment to open standards in the hospitality industries by adopting OTA.
