Nancy Powell Named Finalist for Women in Technology Leadership Awards

Nancy Powell, Program Manager at Dovel, has been named a finalist for the 2016 Women in Technology (WIT) Leadership awards. Powell was recognized in the Unsung Hero category, an award designed to honor women in mid-level positions within technology companies and government organizations who are leading innovative and challenging projects. For Dovel, Powell is the Program Manager for the company’s work on the Emergency Operations Network Incident Management System (EON IMS) at the FDA.

Powell was nominated by her team for her ability to fully accept any challenge and turn it into a success. Her tenacity and ability to execute have been recognized by the client, earning the team multiple recognition from FDA agencies. In addition to her project responsibilities, Powell also makes every effort to mentor team members and help them grow in their careers at Dovel.

The winners of the WIT awards will be announced at an awards banquet on May 19th.
